TENUTA SANT'ISIDORO

Tenuta S.Isidoro, born at the end of the 1930s along the coast of Maremma Laziale (90 km north of Rome and 25 km from the borders with Tuscany), extends for an area of about 817 hectares. The Palombi family for three generations has managed the company with passion, dynamism and so much determination with the aim of combining tradition and innovation, always respecting nature, its rhythms and the peculiarities of the territory.

The grandfather Giovanni gave a great impetus to the development of the Company since the 1930s, intuiting together with two Turinese families, the potential of the Maremma.

He was his son Emidio, to whom the wine Cru is dedicated, with the valid support of the brother-in-law Aldo Spada to want to value the wine sector of the estate.

Thanks to the close collaboration with Riccardo Cotarella, family friend and winemaker of undisputed international fame, first focusing on the most modern technologies of cultivation and vinification of the grapes then on the careful fermentation and refinement of the wines, were achieved surprising results.

With this spirit, Giovanni and Antonio, the third generation, today carry out the witness of a commitment that aims to produce quality wines from the great structure and personality.
