The Gold effect is obtained thanks to the PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), a technology of the latest generation used for the coloring of steel by deposition of very thin metal films. This treatment, with a range of wonderful colour nuances, in addition to embellishing the cutlery, makes it more resistant to wear and scratches and is a perfectly sustainable coating and suitable for use in the food industry. It also has the advantage to allow washing with detergents without any contraindications, indeed the cleaning is superior to satin or glossy surfaces, it is guaranteed washing in the dishwasher. PVD treatment is used in various sectors such as in the medical and dental field and this ensures its use in the food-contact planting.
