TRADITIONAL & AUTHENTIC
The Sila potato is a variety of potato grown on the Sila plateau, in Calabria (Southern Italy). Since 2010 it has been recognized as a PGI product, winning the European brand.
Distinguished and appreciated for its excellent culinary qualities, the soil rich in potassium, irrigation with spring water and a microclimate with strong temperature variations give it unique characteristics. Round, round-oval or long oval in shape, with resistant skin after rubbing, it has an above average percentage of starch and a compact pulp, with a high percentage of dry substance that guarantees high culinary qualities and a particular indication to frying.

Imagine the pristine territory of a National Park, its sources of pure water and an ancient agricultural vocation that holds together a consortium of more than one hundred producers on eight hundred hectares of land. This is where the Patata della Sila PGI is born.

The innovative spirit of our company is contained in the marketing of the product under vacuum, which makes the product more palatable as it can be used in a simple way without affecting the organoleptic properties of the potato and guaranteeing considerable storage times given the nature of the product.
The final result consists in making available a high quality product deprived of the cumbersome cleaning and cutting phase of the same, also offering different cuts that leave the consumer the possibility to decide the format that best suits their tastes.
