Born in Taranto on April 24 of '36 and died on October 5 of 2020.

Inventor, poet, stage designer and musician.

He is late to the art of the pictorial representation of his land and arrives after a continuous erratic between various sceneries and various inventions, between set-ups and direction of discos and the writing of serene poems that tells the man Savarese and the artist.

Almost by chance he devotes himself to painting and almost by chance, devoid of school and current addresses, conceives a new way

sing the things of his people.

Trulli, houses, churches, revolving bridge, promenade, fountains are the recurring subjects in its canvases; but they are seen again with new eye and mythology. Its landscapes without figures, exude secular or mystical emotions depending on the subject represented.

Its eccletism is synthesized in a palette rich in solar colors of the land of the south, poor of means but prodigal of

feelings.

Savarese is all this; simplicity of means and richness of populated messages that do not disconnect it from people among whom it has lived, indeed they make it a symbol for spontaneity, simplicity, loyalty.

His painting, sublimated over the years, uses a technique that transforms the image of the real into three-dimensional representation in which they find place not only enamels and oils but also other elements that contribute to making the subject more alive and more pleasing to the eye of the observer.
