    When choosing cookware there are always several things to consider: material , heat sources , sustainability , design , thermal conductivity and dishwasher safety. Choosing these pots means not having to compromise; you get an excellent product at a great price. Contemporary Italian design combined with robust 18/10 stainless steel, to create a cookware collection that will last a lifetime. The new Gourmet cookware line , made entirely of 18/10 stainless steel, has a mirror-polished external and internal surface. The triple bottom : internal layer 18/10 stainless steel - central layer Heart in non-toxic aluminum - external layer Special steel for induction . The pots in the new Gourmet line are suitable for all heat sources including induction and can also be placed in the oven as they have electro-welded stainless steel handles . All pots are equipped with a non- drip rim. Instead of a stainless steel lid, Mepra has used a Pyrex glass lid to cover meat, fish, vegetables or pasta, it is unique, of superior quality and with excellent resistance to mechanical shocks. They adapt perfectly to extreme temperatures, from -40° to +300°, and resist thermal shocks up to 220°, and can be used without fear from the oven to the freezer and vice versa. They answer all culinary challenges, from preparation to serving, cooking, storage. the pans of the new Gourmet collection are dishwasher safe.
